Snoop Dogg accused
A woman has accused American rapper Snoop Dogg of sexually assaulting her. In 2013, she claimed that it happened in a bathroom in a TV studio.
The unidentified woman who has carried her case to a court in California said she was shocked and was afraid when the assault happened.
Snoop had already denied the accusation, according to TMZ, and he wrote on his Instagram saying “gold digger season is here.”

In the lawsuit against the rapper, the woman said she is still thinking about what would happen to her job if she did not do what the defendant, Snoop Dogg, wanted.
“The complainant was under pressure because of the authority and the position of power that the defendant had over her, including his ability to hire and sack her and make sure that nobody in the industry would employ her again.”
The lawsuit also said,
“She remembered the defendant Snoop Dogg’s criminal history, which included his alleged gang affiliation, and reluctantly did what he asked.”
The woman added that an associate of the rapper had sexually assaulted her early that evening.
Both parties had tried to resolve the case through mediation, but it did not work. The woman seeks unspecified damages.
Her lawyer, Matt Finkelberg, told NBC News that she refused to be silenced and intimidated any longer.
She said,
“Our client hopes to inspire other victims of sexual harassment, assault, and battery to understand that they have rights, they will be protected, and although they are victims, they will not be silent forever.”
They filed the woman’s case on the day Snoop Dogg announced that he had bought Death Row Records—the label that launched his industrious rap career.
